Technical Consultants

Let us tell you a bit about the people behind XAT Research:

David Learmonth, B.A.Sc., M.Eng.

David Learmonth

Hi, I'm David Learmonth.

As a technical consultant I've helped companies from a wide variety of fields (including health sciences, chemical engineering, general manufacturing, and food sciences among others), successfully apply for and claim SR&ED tax credits.

The project justification and model development phases of my contract at Shell required that I interact and obtain information from many departments across North America, identify areas of peak benefit, and organize this data into a comprehensive format. My time as a Co-op student taught me to learn the key aspects of a project / company quickly, and to adapt to new environments.

I now use these skills to identify the best opportunities for clients, and to make certain that those under consideration are successfully evaluated.

Hi, I'm Andrea Collis.

As a technical consultant I apply engineering skills to the development and implementation of creative "knowledge" solutions.

My experience as a researcher has taught me how to learn and apply that knowledge to unique situations. And as a manufacturing engineer I learned many practical skills, which include good organization and how to work with people on many different levels to achieve a goal. I enjoy interacting with people to help them in whatever capacity I can.
